Finance Project Manager

One of our Engineering clients is looking for a Finance Project Manager to join on a Fixed-Term basis and deliver a range of finance transformation projects as part of a major Finance driven transformation agenda, including an Oracle Fusion implementation

Role: Finance Project Manager
2-Year FTC (Fixed-Term Contract)
Salary: £80k - £90k DOE
Reporting into: Programme Manager
Hybrid role: 2 days a week in London (Bristol office also available)

Key responsibilities:

• Drive and deliver various end-to-end finance transformation projects, across people, process and technology, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and business requirements.
• Act as the link between technical teams, finance teams, and business stakeholders to ensure adoption and delivery success.
• Own, manage and drive the hands-on delivery of the project plan for your projects
• Manage at least one to two projects concurrently, reporting into the Programme Manager.
• Apply Waterfall and agile delivery methodology to successfully deliver projects
• Design and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, managing expectations and maintaining transparency.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating where necessary.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience delivering finance transformation projects end-to-end.
• Strong background in finance project management; accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA) desirable but not essential.
• Hands-on delivery experience a must, not just coordination - able to lead projects directly.
• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to influence and manage demanding stakeholders.
• Experience in Oracle Fusion or similar ERP programmes advantageous.
• Ability to think outside the box and bring innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• A self-starter with strong leadership skills, able to collaborate effectively with third-party delivery partners and cross-functional teams.
