Job Description
Airport Staff on behalf of our client are seeking an experienced Finance Programme Manager to support a nationwide operational network within a highly regulated environment.
This is a varied and dynamic role combining operational management, financial oversight, programme delivery, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Working across multiple functions, you will play a key role in ensuring business operations run efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and operational partners.
Key Responsibilities- Manage operational budgets, expenditure, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee supplier contracts, insurance matters, and finance-related activities.
- Support facilities, infrastructure, fleet, and operational base requirements.
- Lead and coordinate regulatory and compliance programmes, including information security and licensing requirements.
- Act as Incident Manager within the Emergency Response framework.
- Manage and develop the Programme Management Office (PMO) function.
- Oversee key operational systems, telecommunications, and technology suppliers.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators, government departments, airport operators, and emergency services organisations.
- Support operational projects, business improvements, and strategic initiatives.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry such as aviation, defence, emergency services, infrastructure, or similar.
- Strong financial and commercial management experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Degree qualification in Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or export control programmes.
