We are seeking a Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant to work at Director level within a Global Broking and Futures Trading business.

This role offers the opportunity to join the senior management team of a fast-growing, internationally focused digital business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for key finance operations across UK and overseas legal entities, including management reporting and statutory accounting.

We require a qualified accountant experienced in delivering results in a dynamic environment, capable of collaborating effectively with finance teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Responsible for quarterly FCA reporting

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing end-to-end finance operations for in-scope entities.
  • Producing timely monthly management accounts and related reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • Reviewing management accounts, supporting schedules, and understanding key movements.
  • Thorough review of balance sheets and reconciliations, with commentary and analysis.
  • Driving process improvements, automation, and controls.
  • Ensuring statutory reporting deadlines are met, including annual accounts and tax filings.
  • Managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
  • Leading and developing a team of assistant accountants.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in leading the UK finance function and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Supporting business improvements and key finance projects.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), preferably with first-time passes, up to five years post-qualified experience.

Strong academic record, including 2:1 or above at a top-tier university.

Experience in a top 10 accountancy practice or large international business.

Good IT skills; experience with accounting systems such as SUN Systems or Workday Financials is advantageous.

A keen interest in the global economy.
