We are looking for a Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant to work within a Global Broking and Futures Trading business. It is a hybrid position, 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role offers an exciting opportunity to join the senior management team of this fast-growing, internationally focused digital business.

This position provides experienced accounting and coordination on various key finance operations for multiple UK and overseas legal entities within the Group.

The person in this role will be responsible, as part of a team, for the accurate and timely delivery of all day-to-day finance operations for all assigned legal entities, including management reporting and statutory accounting.

We seek a qualified accountant proficient in delivering results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, capable of effective collaboration across the finance team and with senior stakeholders across functions.


• Responsible for quarterly FCA reporting

  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations for in-scope entities.

• Responsible for timely production of monthly management accounts and related management information, including P&L, balance sheet & cash flows for in-scope entities.
• Review & challenge all management accounts, supporting schedules & reports, understanding key movements.
• Conduct thorough reviews of the balance sheet and reconciliations, providing commentary and analysis.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, automation, reporting, and controls.
• Assist in meeting statutory reporting deadlines, including annual accounts and tax filings.
• Manage the audit process, liaising with external auditors and preparing schedules.
• Lead and develop a team of assistant accountants, ensuring reporting requirements are met and supporting their development.
• Assist the Financial Controller in leading the UK finance function, identifying efficiency and growth opportunities.
• Support business improvements and contribute to finance projects.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), ideally with first-time passes, suitable for accountants up to five years post-qualified.

Strong academic record, including 2:1 or above at a top-tier university.

Experience at a top 10 accountancy practice or within a large international business.

Good IT skills; experience with accounting systems such as SUN Systems or Workday Financials is advantageous.

A keen interest in the global economy.
