Working as part of our Finance team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation of financial statements, supporting legal group audits, and ensuring compliance with VAT, GST, and other tax regulations. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare both audited and unaudited financial statements for legal entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Audit Support: Assist and support the legal group audit process, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate a smooth and timely audit.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit all legal VAT and GST returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Partner Capital Reconciliation: Responsible for day to day reconciliation of partner capital accounts, ensuring all related postings are accurate and timely.
  • Annual Tax Compliance: Support the annual tax compliance process for all legal entities, liaising with tax advisors and ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Tax Projects: Participate in and support various tax-related projects, providing financial insights and expertise to ensure successful outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a finance role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment and a strong understanding of financial statements, audits, and tax compliance, including VAT and GST.

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA) is preferred.
