Finance Manager - Temp

We're working with a high-profile TV production company to recruit an experienced Finance Manager for a 3 month temporary cover role. This is a hands-on position overseeing day-to-day finance operations, month-end close, payroll, and production finance support across a busy and fast-paced studio environment:
Responsibilities:
Prepare the monthly management pack and group reporting submissions
Manage monthly payroll processing for the HQ team (30+ staff)
Lead the month-end close in Sage 50, including bank postings, journals, and accounting entries
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
Raise customer invoices for development and production projects, and oversee debtor collections
Review and approve employee expenses and company credit card submissions
Oversee supplier invoice processing and coordinate weekly/ad hoc payment runs
Submit VAT returns and maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations
Set up finance processes and banking for new productions (including credit/prepaid cards)
Support preparation of period-end schedules for external accountants and tax advisers
Requirements:
ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified (or part-qualified) / 5+ years industry experience
Previous experience in media, TV or entertainment is desirable
Experience managing payroll
Confident communicator able to engage with senior stakeholders and production teams
Strong Excel skills with working knowledge of Sage 50 and payroll software
Available for an immediate start
