Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established retail business based in South Dublin. This is a key leadership role within the finance function, suited to a commercially focused finance professional with strong retail industry experience and a proven track record managing a busy finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the finance function and day-to-day financial operations
• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance procedures are in place
• Oversee year-end audit processes and statutory reporting
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Partner with senior leadership to support commercial decision-making
• Monitor KPIs and provide financial analysis to support business performance

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager role within the retail sector
• Strong people management experience with the ability to lead a busy finance team
• Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills
• Experience managing all aspects of finance operations
• Strong systems and Excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
