Job Description

About the role- Represent the project in senior internal and external forums (e.g. Steering Committees, Board meetings), covering all aspects of financial planning and performance.
- Lead the continuous development and optimisation of the business case to support FID, including scenario modelling and assumption testing.
- Identify, assess and manage key project risks (operational, commercial and financial), ensuring robust mitigation and resilience strategies.
- Maintain strong stakeholder engagement across RWE, providing clear monthly financial reporting and recommendations to enable effective decision making.
- Oversee efficient allocation and optimisation of project resources to maximise delivery and value.
- Ensure rigorous liquidity planning and financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support and participate in supplier negotiations pre and post FID, building constructive, long term partner relationships.
- Promote continuous improvement, fostering a high performing, results oriented project culture with strong HSE standards.
- Degree in Finance or Business from an accredited university, or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive offshore industry experience, particularly in offshore development and financial processes (evaluation, optimisation, forward budgeting).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, combined with proven leadership and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross functional and intercultural teams, with solid knowledge of RWE Group processes.
- Skilled in producing clear, concise reporting, streamlining processes, and enabling informed decision making.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, including financial oversight of multi billion euro projects.
- In depth expertise in risk management with a results driven mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
