The Finance Director is our KIKO Ambassador responsible for providing financial support to the Country Director and Senior Leadership Team. This role will provide timely and accurate financial information to the UK and fulfill all reporting requirements from Head Office (Bergamo).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Country Director and Chief Financial Officer on the strategic (vision) plan. Monitor, provide updates, and, where necessary, suggest alternative solutions on the implementation of strategic plans.
- Develop and lead the company's financial strategies.
- Work with the Country Director to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support and compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Manage the accounting, tax, and treasury functions.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization, including revenue and expenses, balance sheet reports, and development and monitoring of budgets within the country.
- Provide support to the Retail Team with reports, controls, analysis, and advice to achieve the established financial objectives. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Prepare budgets and quarterly forecasts, explaining deviations from actuals.
- Ensure accurate submission of financial report packages to head office.
- Review and approve all Month End Tax and Performance Reports.
- Report financial results to the Country Director, CFO, and Executive Management team.
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile. Analyze liabilities and investments.
- Decide on investment strategies considering cash and liquidity risks.
- Monitor banking activities of the organization.
- Lead relationships with the parent company (KIKO S.p.A), external auditors, tax, and legal advisors.

A background in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with progressive responsibility in a Finance Department (ideally in a senior position) is required. You should be ACCA qualified with experience in the retail industry. Experience with SAP is advantageous. As Finance Director, you need a strategic, business-driven mindset and the ability to align business strategies with financial priorities.
