Job Description
About the Role

Quantifi is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our global accounting, reporting, controls, and compliance as the business scales and to bring strong FP&A capability, owning budgeting, forecasting, and the analysis that supports executive decision-making. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Controller who runs both the close and the plan, with strong accounting fundamentals and proven FP&A experience in a global software or financial technology company.

Responsibilities Accounting & financial reporting
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
  • Maintain the general ledger and produce consolidated statements across the UK, US, and Australia entities, including FX translation and intercompany eliminations.
  • EnsureaccurateIFRS/UKGAAPstatutoryreporting(andUSGAAPfortheUSentity).
  • ApplyrevenuerecognitionunderIFRS15/ASC606forlicenseandsubscriptionrevenue.
  • Developandmaintainaccountingpolicies,procedures,andinternalcontrols.
Financial planning & analysis
  • Leadannualbudgetingandquarterlyforecasting.
  • Buildoperatingmodels,forecasts,andscenarioanalysestosupportexecutivedecisions.
  • Partner with department leaders on headcount, expense, and resource planning.
  • Deliver management reporting and KPI analysis; improve visibility into revenue, margin, operating leverage, and cash flow.
Controls, compliance & audit
  • Strengthenandcontinuouslyimproveinternalcontrolsystemsandaccountingoperations.
  • Coordinateannualfinancialstatementauditsandtaxaudits.
  • MaintaincomplianceacrossUK(HMRC,CompaniesHouse)andinternationalrequirements.
  • Supportlegal-entitymanagementandcorporaterecords.
Tax & FX
  • Oversee preparation and filing of corporate, payroll, VAT / sales & use, and other regulatory returns across jurisdictions.
  • Manage transfer pricing and intercompany arrangements; FX rate management and currency exposure.
  • Managerelationshipswithexternalauditors,taxadvisors,andbankingpartners.
Cash flow & treasury
  • Monitorcashflowandworkingcapital;supporttreasuryandbankingrelationships.
  • Improvethefinancialoperatingcadenceandreportingdiscipline.
Systems & process improvement
  • Ownorco-ownthefinance-systemimplementation;reduceExceldependencyinreporting.
  • Buildrepeatable,scalableprocessesthatsupportgrowthwithoutunnecessarycomplexity.
Qualifications
  • Qualifiedaccountant:ACA,ACCA,orCIMA(USCPAaplus).
  • 10+yearsofprogressiveaccountingandfinanceexperience,withacontrollershipcore.
  • ProvenFP&Aexperience:budgeting,forecasting,andfinancialmodeling.
  • StrongknowledgeofIFRS/UKGAAPandfinancialreporting;multinationalconsolidationsandFX.
  • Experienceinsoftware,SaaS,fintech,orfinancialservicesenvironmentsstronglypreferred.
  • Revenuerecognitionexperience(IFRS15/ASC606).
  • Stronganalyticalandmodelingskills;closepartnershipwithleadership.
  • Excellentcommunication,organizational,andcross-functionalskills.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a growing organization.
