We are seeking an experienced EPM Finance Transformation Business Analyst to support a major finance transformation programme, migrating from Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Cloud Fusion. Working within a complex banking environment, this role will play a key part in shaping and delivering Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) capabilities across budgeting, forecasting, planning, revenue allocation, and financial reporting processes.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted representative of the business, bridging the gap between Finance, Technology, and implementation partners. Combining strong finance transformation experience with a solid understanding of Oracle Fusion EPM capabilities, they will be responsible for translating business requirements, supporting testing activities, driving business change, and ensuring the solution meets the organisation's planning, forecasting, and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Technology, and implementation partners throughout the Oracle Fusion EPM implementation.

  • Gather, analyse, document, and validate business requirements, translating them into clear functional and project deliverables.

  • Represent business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are accurately captured and reflected within the EPM solution design.

  • Support the delivery of budgeting, forecasting, planning, revenue allocation, and management reporting processes within Oracle Fusion EPM.

  • Provide informed challenge to implementation partners and vendors where appropriate, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver expected outcomes.

  • Facilitate workshops with finance and business stakeholders to define requirements, identify process improvements, and support solution design activities.

  • Develop and present activity plans, recommendations, and status updates to programme leadership and senior stakeholders.

  • Support finance transformation and change management initiatives through effective documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Prepare, coordinate, execute, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring business requirements are fully validated.

  • Track and communicate project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams.

  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure alignment of EPM capabilities with financial planning and reporting requirements.

  • Perform data analysis and reporting activities to support financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on Finance Transformation programmes, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.

  • Experience delivering or supporting Oracle Fusion EPM/EDP solutions, with particular focus on budgeting, forecasting, planning, and financial reporting processes.

  • Demonstrable understanding of finance processes and Oracle Fusion EPM capabilities, with the ability to challenge solution designs and delivery partners where appropriate.

  • Experience working within Corporate & Investment Banking environments.

  • Strong knowledge of revenue allocation, cost allocation, forecasting, and planning methodologies.

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong understanding of IFRS reporting standards.

  • Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience leading business requirements workshops and managing senior stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience supporting large-scale finance change and transformation initiatives.

  • Strong business analysis, process mapping, and requirements management skills.

  • Knowledge of accounting treatments relating to vanilla banking products.

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion and exposure to Oracle EBS General Ledger (GL) environments.

  • Strong SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial interpretation capabilities.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
