Finance Business Partner (Cost)

I'm looking to speak with "Cost Focused" Finance Business Partners to lead my clients' workforce cost modelling, streamline reporting processes, and drive cost efficiency. You'll partner closely with HR, Operations, and Commercial teams to provide actionable insights and support strategic planning across Opex, Capex, and headcount.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain workforce cost models; support succession and resourcing plans.
• Transition manual Excel models into automated tools (e.g. Workday, Adaptive Planning).
• Deliver monthly reporting across Opex, Capex, and headcount, including commission schemes.
• Challenge cost assumptions to identify savings and drive efficiency.
• Provide accurate, timely insights to support planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve cost visibility and control.

About You

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong FP&A or cost partnering experience.
• Skilled in managing large-scale workforce models and cost forecasting.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems; experience with Workday/Adaptive Planning preferred.
• Strong understanding of operational cost drivers, including commissions and staffing plans.
• Confident communicator with a proactive, analytical mindset.
