About Our Client

It's a family-owned, manufacturing business circa £50m turnover, operating across multiple UK sites. The company is consolidating its structure, growing in the UK market, and emphasises innovation and operational excellence.

Job Description
  • Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and review accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing key insights to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability.
  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and best practices.
  • Provide financial guidance and mentorship to the accounting team.
The Successful Applicant
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
