Job Description
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to create and manage budgets effectively.
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
- Assist with forecasting and long-term financial planning initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement efficiencies.
- Act as the main point of contact for audit preparation and queries.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with not-for-profit sector financial practices is a plus.
