Your new role
We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to drive financial performance and strategic insight across our direct-to-consumer (B2C) products: ReadCube, Overleaf, and Writefull. These platforms serve a global user base of students, researchers, and professionals-delivering intuitive, high-value tools in the digital research workflow.
This role is at the intersection of finance, strategy, and product. You'll be responsible for optimizing our subscription economics, supporting decision-making with deep financial insights, and partnering closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to fuel sustainable growth.

Your new role

What you'll be doing Strategic Partnering
- Act as a key finance advisor to the leadership of ReadCube, Overleaf, and Writefull.
- Deliver tailored insights that drive pricing strategy, product investments, and go-to-market execution.
- Work cross-functionally to align financial planning with product and growth roadmaps.
- Own the forecasting and tracking of critical B2C SaaS KPIs:
- Monthly & Annual Recurring Revenue (MRR/ARR)
- Subscriber Growth and Churn
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
- Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
- Conversion Rates (e.g., Free-to-Paid, Trial-to-Paid)
- ARPU, DAU/MAU, Payback Periods, NRR, GRR
- Cohort and Funnel Analytics
- Identify performance trends, risks, and revenue opportunities based on user behavior and campaign outcomes.
- Build financial models and dashboards that power scenario planning and strategic decision-making.
- Translate data into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders across Product, Growth, and Leadership.
- Partner with analytics teams to improve financial reporting infrastructure and visibility.
- Lead B2C revenue contributions to budgeting and long-range planning.
- Evaluate the financial impact of feature rollouts, promotions, or new customer segments.
- Support investment cases for growth experiments, pricing models, and international expansion.
- Forecast accuracy across subscriber growth, churn, and ARR
- Clear financial visibility into product performance and marketing efficiency
- Improved unit economics (e.g., LTV:CAC, payback period)
- Strong cross-functional influence with Product and Marketing
- Demonstrated financial impact on strategic B2C initiatives
What you'll bring to the role
- Experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance, or revenue ops-ideally in B2C SaaS, EdTech, or digital subscription models
- Deep understanding of digital customer lifecycles, user behavior, and funnel dynamics
- Strong modeling, forecasting, and storytelling skills
- Fluency with tools like Power BI, Google Sheets, Salesforce, Anaplan, Google Analytics or other similar tools
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and product leaders
- A collaborative, agile mindset with excellent communication skills
