We are currently seeking a Finance Associate to join our team in Geraldine. In this role, you'll work closely with senior leadership and be involved in everything from month end reporting and budgeting to banking, tax compliance, and business analysis. You'll learn the ropes of management accounting while contributing to real decisions that shape the business. To assist with month end close, prepare accruals and generate P&L and Balance Sheet Reports. Support audits, tax filings and reconciliations for GST, FBT, PAYE and more. Help with budgeting, cost reviews and pricing analysis. Support cashflow forecasting, FX management and banking operations. Provide backup for AP/AR, assist payroll and support operational reporting.

This role reports directly to our Chief Financial & Operations Officer. This is a part time position based in Geraldine with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be a detail oriented individual who is eager to learn and has:

Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.

Strong ability in Excel and experience working with accounting software; Sage experience is advantageous.

Demonstrates proficiency in current IT systems & tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

Is proactive, self motivated and able to work independently.

This role is part time, 20 hours per week. The job is based on site in Geraldine.
