Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Finance and Payroll Manager include:
- Management of a small transactional finance team
- End-to-end payroll delivery for c. 75-80 monthly employees, plus a small weekly payroll
- Oversight of finance operations, controls, and compliance
- Month-end and year-end support, including audit preparation
- Pension compliance and benefits administration
- Reviewing and improving finance and payroll processes
- Liaising with internal stakeholders across the business
- Involvement with property and residential entities
A successful Finance and Payroll Manager should have:
- A strong background in accounting and payroll management within the property industry.
- Professional qualifications in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in financial software and payroll systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
