Finance focused role that doesn't req. qualifications! Would suit a savvy GM that loves a spreadsheet and behind the scenes systems, M-F, daytime only

Responsibilities
  • M-F role, daytime only
  • Would really suit a very financially literate GM
  • 1st role of its kind that would be deeply embedded across the entire business
  • Work closely with founders and Ops manager
  • Help implement new systems and create regular reports
  • Categorise invoices and expenses on Xero
  • Create weekly flash reports for sales and costs
  • Manage cashflow and supplier payments
  • Deal with VAT and PAYE payments
  • Help the team on the ground maintain and improve current workflow systems
  • Excel whizz required; support general office and behind the scenes administrative work
Company context

This restaurant is so beautiful with stunning interiors and is a favourite for large groups and private events too. The female founders have a keen eye for design and also have a retail side of the business alongside the restaurant, so several revenue centres do oversee.

Work environment

The restaurant is really busy and there is a large team. The role would be based in the office but you would be present in the restaurant most days and would work collaboratively with the head office and senior management while assisting with general office and behind the scenes organisational admin. We've worked with this business for a little while now and made some key introductions so know that it is a collaborative operation and one that prioritises the development of its people.
