Job Description
The Finance Analyst - Performance will use strong analytical and data analysis skills and excellent attention to detail to analyze category performance and identify areas for improvement. Providing analyses and insights to the Finance Manager, this role will supporting strategic decision-making across all product categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and clean data related to category performance, including sales, market share, and competitors.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs and financial performance of private label brands.
- Support financial modeling for new initiatives and ROI (potential return on investment) assessments.
- Assist in developing and executing category management plans.
- Provide data-driven insights for pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies.
- Use visualization tools to communicate key findings.
- Contribute to market research, competitive analysis, and product launches.
- Improve data processes and support best practices in category analysis.
Skills and Experience needed
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in financial management or accounting
- Strong business partnering skills and the ability to build relationships across functions
- Proven track record of financial analysis and reporting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
