Job Description

Trinity House Group are recruiting a commercially focused Finance Analyst role sitting within a high-performing finance team in a large, multi-site environment. This position will suit someone who enjoys working with complex data, turning numbers into clear stories, and influencing decision makers.

You'll play a key role in improving visibility of performance across the business through high-quality reporting, insight and the continued development of Power BI outputs. Expect real exposure, senior stakeholder interaction and the chance to shape how data is used to drive profitability.

What you'll be doing
  • Producing accurate, timely and insightful reporting to support trading and operational decisions
  • Building, maintaining and enhancing Power BI dashboards and data models
  • Analysing trends across revenue, margin, costs and KPIs
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles with robust data and scenario analysis
  • Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to explain performance and challenge assumptions
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, automation and data integrity
  • Assisting with month-end activities where required
What they're looking for
  • Strong analytical capability with the confidence to interpret large data sets
  • Experience using Power BI (or similar visualisation tools)
  • Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of data manipulation techniques is highly desirable
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
  • Naturally curious, detail-orientated and solutions driven
  • Studying towards, or keen to study, a recognised qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is advantageous but not essential
Why this role stands out
  • Genuine opportunity to influence how performance data is delivered across the organisation
  • High visibility with senior leaders
  • A business investing heavily in systems, insight and continuous improvement
  • Clear progression routes within a large finance function
