Our client, a well-established Midlands-based Accountancy Practice, is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Administrator to work in-house with one of its key clients.
This is a hands-on, mid-level finance position reporting directly to senior management and company directors, with the support and oversight of an established accountancy practice team. The successful candidate will play a central role in financial management across multiple business outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of accounts to Trial Balance stage
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
- Monitoring and development of internal financial controls
- Attendance at monthly board meetings
- Review and enhancement of finance policies, procedures, and controls
- Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports
- Cash flow forecasting and debtor management
- Budgeting and financial forecasting
- Financial and commercial performance analysis
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners
- Working closely with senior management to support business growth initiatives
- Previous experience in a similar finance role within practice or industry
- Qualified Accounting Technician or higher qualification desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, solution-focused approach
- Competitive salary of €40,000 - €45,000 annually
