FILM-Senior Financial Accountant (CA Qual)-12mth FTC

Thrilled to be partnering with an independent Film studio I've worked with for over a decade, recruiting their entire Finance function.

This newly created role will see you support the growing slate of independent feature films, comprising 6-7 existing productions alongside 3-4 new films each year.

Working closely with the Production Finance Manager, you will:

• Take ownership of the financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and audit processes across all production SPVs and commissioning entities.
• Ensure accurate consolidation into the Group's financial systems, maintain robust accounting records across multiple productions.
• Play a key role in preparing tax credit claims and responding to auditor queries.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for SPVs, ensuring accurate consolidation
• Lead the preparation of production audit packs, alongside the individual production FC, including detailed supporting schedules for all production entities.
• Work closely with external auditors throughout the year, acting as a primary contact for all production-related audit queries.
• Ensure SPVs comply with statutory, contractual, and partner reporting obligations.
• Support the Production Finance Manager with slate-level analyses, variance commentary, and reporting packs.
• Maintain oversight of production-level financial documentation, ensuring robust audit trails and consistent filing practices.

This role is ideal for a CA/ ACCA qualified accountant from a Film/TV audit practice (e.g. Saffery), who is ready to step into a dynamic, hands-on position at the heart of a fast-growing company & see first hand how the movie industry works
