Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician / Battery Technician / Electrical Technician required for a UPS systems provider.

The successful Field Service Technician / Battery Technician / Electrical Technician will be responsible for carrying out routine battery maintenance and electrical maintenance to end user clients, contractors, and sub-contractors across the Home Counties (Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Essex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Surrey, Oxfordshire).

The successful Field Service Technician / Battery Technician / Electrical Technician will have a hands-on electrical background and be willing to travel within the Home Counties and UK.

Package

• £27,000 - £30,000+
• Overtime + 15% shift allowances
• Company vehicle

Role

• Carrying out routine battery and electrical maintenance activities
• Electrical maintenance, including but not limited to commissioning and fault diagnosis
• Ensuring standards of service are maintained and improved in line with company requirements
• Completing paperwork relating to site visits
• Typically attend sites in pairs
• No on-call duties
• Report to the Service Manager
• Covering the Home Counties (Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Essex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Surrey, Oxfordshire)

Requirements

• Must have a hands-on electrical background - as a Field Service Technician, Battery Technician, Electrical Improver, Electrical Technician, Electrical Engineer or similar
• Expected to work 21 weekends out of the year (approximately every 2-3 weeks)
• Full UK driving license.
• Willing to cover the Home Counties in the UK (Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Essex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Surrey, Oxfordshire)
