Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Industrial Cleaning Equipment)
Location: Dartford, Kent (accepting applications from commutable locations)
Salary: £38,000-£41,000 base salary (OTE £50,000+)
Hours: Monday-Friday (Days only) 40 hours per week + Door to Door Paid +
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Attend breakdowns, service and installations on an array of industrial cleaning equipment, operating within a 1 hour radius of your area
  • Use manual hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists, etc.), hot working tools (blowtorch, heat guns)
  • Carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment and IG engines (petrol, diesel, LPG)
  • Manage time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner
  • Update job reports and order parts when necessary
  • Ensure health & safety procedures are followed
Requirements
  • Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience advantageous
  • Good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge; similar roles may include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (not essential but advantageous)
  • Experience using electrical & mechanical tools
  • Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field based engineer working on diesel engines and using electrical diagnostic tools
  • Full UK driver's licence
