Pay: From £18.50 per hour, 39 hours per week. After 39 hours per week overtime paid at time and a half.

We are a leading supplier of specialist technology and equipment for road construction, maintenance, and mineral processing machinery. From our UK headquarters, we support customers nationwide with innovative products, first-class sales, and comprehensive aftercare.
Due to continued growth in the UK, we are seeking a number of experienced Field Service Engineers with strong knowledge of plant equipment repair to deliver industry-leading planned and reactive maintenance services for an internationally renowned equipment manufacturer.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll often be the face of the business - providing trusted, efficient support to customers on-site. This role requires a hands-on professional with proven experience in mobile plant equipment, alongside a proactive and customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities- Attend customer sites to carry out scheduled servicing and repair work on equipment.
- Work closely with the coordination team to ensure effective planning and delivery of the service schedule.
- Represent the business professionally at all times, building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.
- Complete all paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
- Diagnose faults and carry out testing as required.
- Maintain van stock levels and take care of company-issued tools, equipment, and PPE.
- Deliver machine commissioning, demonstrations, and operator familiarisation when required.
- Strong experience in repairing and servicing plant equipment, ideally large mobile plant on customer sites.
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Plant Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Eagerness to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays.
- A positive, "can-do" attitude with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to read parts, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot systems effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
