Field Service Engineer

Energis is looking for a Service Engineer to join our client, a leading international manufacturing company. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across their installations throughout Northern Ireland.

The role:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Diagnose issues quickly and deliver effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction across all projects.
• Support and improve operational processes to boost productivity and improve efficiency

Criteria:

• Minimum, ONC, NVQ Level II or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in mechanical engineering, motor vehicle studies or equivalent
• Time-served technician experience in a mechanical discipline, ideally with at least 2-3 years' hands-on experience.
• Solid technical knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines.
• Strong IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office packages.
• A full, valid driving licence.

Hours of Work

• Monday-Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
• Weekend and out-of-hours work may be required. Participation in a 24-hour callout rota system is essential.
