Job Description
Job Summary
To repair, service and maintain all plant and equipment including crawler cranes and piling equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Travel to site to carry out equipment commissioning, inspections, repairs and assist with breakdowns.
Working from our purpose built workshop when not required on site.
Inspection of equipment and rectification of any defects.
Carry out complete servicing of equipment.
Undertake routine inspections of equipment.
Dismantle and repair or replace faulty components.
Re-assemble and test components to ensure they are in good working order.
Involvement in major repairs and re-builds of equipment.
Explain faults to managers, colleagues and customers.
Ensure that detailed work reports, inspections and services are submitted electronically in real time on PDA provided.
Maintain good housekeeping by keeping your work area clean and tidy at all times.
Ensure company vehicle is kept clean and tidy and complete daily vehicle defect inspection.
Health and Safety
Work to health and safety regulations, risk assessments and safe working procedures at all times.
General
