About the Role

Gigaclear is a high growth company delivering fibre optic broadband to underserved rural communities across England. The Field Engineer role supports the expansion of the network and the delivery of world class customer service.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Delivery of the allocated work programmes, working with stakeholders to deliver on time, safely and to standard.
  • Trouble shoot, diagnose and carry out installations.
  • Providing a first class customer service.
  • Ensure management of any customer complaints, working to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Responsibility for own and teams' assurance across quality and Health & Safety standards.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Previous Telecoms Installations experience, ideally fibre optic networks (FTTH / FTTP).
  • Previous knowledge and experience of field Civils specifications desirable - eg NRSWA.
  • Previous experience of delivery to pre defined project schedules.
  • Able to understand, interpret and adhere to risk & method assessments.
Qualifications & Accreditations
  • Full driving licence (manual), held for 12 months+.
  • DBS check (or ability to pass).
  • Ideally already hold a NRSWA Operative accreditation.
