We're looking for a highly skilled, proactive,and resilient Fibre Optic Engineer to join our dynamic team. You'll bethe expert hands working on both new build and existing fibre optic networks,tackling complex challenges and ensuring our infrastructure operates at peakperformance.

What You'llBe Doing (The Core of the Role)
- Install, terminate, and test alltypes of fibre optic cables, ranging from 8-core to large-scale432-core cables.
- Perform advanced fibre characterisation and testing using OTDR,ILM, CD, PMD, IOLM, and PON equipment.
- Install critical network infrastructure, including enclosures,couplers, ODFs, and cabinets.
- Execute maintenance and fault-finding on live and new buildinfrastructure to strict engineering specifications.
- Manage your work end-to-end, including daily documentation,reporting, and communication with the Project Manager.
- Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety and environmentalpolicies, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
What You'llBring (Your Essential Skills & Experience)
- Advanced Fusion Splicing Experience: Proficiency with equipment like the Fujikura 60s/70s orsimilar.
- Expert OTDR Proficiency: Hands-onexperience with equipment such as EXFO, CMA NETTEST, ANRITSU, NOYES,or comparable tools.
- A strong foundation in fibre optic network principles andpractical experience on live or new build networks.
- Ability to read and understand complex technical diagrams and written work instructions.
- High level of integrity, diplomacy, and a customer-focusedapproach.
- Excellent time-management, a flexible attitude, andthe emotional resilience to manage on-site pressures.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio) and theability to quickly learn new applications.
