Female Care Assistant - Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for a Female Community Care Worker/Home Care Assistant to join our amazing team at Seren Support.

Location

Porthcawl, Maesteg, and Bridgend

Working Hours

Weekly 16 to full time hours each week (choose your shift: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.)

Salary & Benefits

• £14.00 per hour (and £18.00 per hour on bank holidays)
• 0.40 ppm mileage allowance

Principal Duties

• Ensure client has frequent and meaningful social connection.
• Assist with routine duties including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Accompany on shopping or appointments.
• Provide personal care-basic needs such as clothing, grooming, bathing, and showering-to support independence.

Requirements and Expectations

• Must be able to work in the United Kingdom and own a vehicle with a valid UK driver's licence.
• Ready to work as a team and act in a professional manner with a kind demeanour.
• Flexible working weekends; no prior caregiving experience required-top notch training is provided.
• Female applicant only, in compliance with Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010 (a legitimate occupational necessity).
