Our client, is a leading set of Barristers' Chambers, widely respected for its formidable reputation across a broad range of practice areas. Chambers is equally known for its exceptional client service, delivered by both Members and its outstanding staff team.
Chambers is now seeking a capable and experienced Fees Clerk to join its dedicated administration team. This is a vital position, working closely with the Practice Directors, Members of Chambers, and external providers to ensure the smooth operation of Chambers' billing and fee collection processes.
The Role:
- To Monitor and chase outstanding fees.
- Work closely with practice directors on aged debt recovery.
- Main contact for external fee recovery partners.
- Handle general fee-related queries.
- Support costs budgeting requirements.
- Prepare data, reports and information for internal meetings.
- Produce 'unbilled fees' and other reports.
- Play active role in key elements of Chambers' billing requirements.
The Person:
- Experience in fee collection gained within a barristers' chambers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external providers.
- Knowledge of LAA and CFA funding.
