We're looking for a skilled, efficient Chef to join our kitchen at Swingyard, Elmgreen Golf Centre, Dublin 15 - a newly renovated, high-tech golf entertainment venue.

This isn't your typical driving range. With in-bay dining, a licensed café, outdoor terrace, and cutting-edge ball-tracking tech, we offer a fun, interactive experience for all ages.

As Chef, you'll prepare and cook a variety of dishes quickly and to a high standard, ensuring a great food experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and Prepare Orders: Take customer orders from waitstaff and prepare food according to specific requests.
• Cooking: Grill, cook, and fry a variety of foods including hamburgers, sandwiches, pizzas, fries and other quick-serve items.
• Order Management: Plan and manage work orders to ensure all components of an order are ready and served simultaneously.
• Food Preparation: Perform basic food preparation tasks, such as slicing meats and vegetables, and garnishing dishes.
• Service: Complete orders ensuring it is presented attractively before served to customers.
• Inventory Management: Order supplies as needed and ensure shelves are well-stocked.
• Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of food preparation equipment and areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Wastage: Ensuring that a minimum of food is wasted.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a short-order cook or in a similar role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Fully HACCP Trained would be an advantage but if not, full training will be given.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
