G.H. Chennells Farms Ltd is a family-owned farming business based on the Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire border farming around 5,000 acres. Built on the strengths of brothers Michael, Andrew and Patrick, the business has grown into a diverse, commercially focused operation of real scale.

The farm produces around 12,000 tonnes of potatoes, 7,000 tonnes of onions, 6,000 tonnes of carrots, along with other crops, supplying a wide range of customers. It also manages c.20 residential properties, operates significant cold storage and is exploring diversification opportunities.

The Role

We are seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Farms Director with experience of:

• Managing complex agricultural and land-based operations

• Leading large-scale root crop production

• Holding full P&L responsibility, including budgeting

• Driving operational performance while leading and developing teams

• Overseeing and growing a diversified portfolio of business activities

• Building trust with shareholders
