Farm Shop Assistant - Chichester

Are you passionate about high-quality, locally produced food and enjoy delivering great customer service? Goodwood Home Farm is looking for a friendly and reliable Farm Shop Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

As part of our welcoming farm shop team, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers, helping them choose from our range of exceptional, home-produced meats. Full training will be provided to build your product knowledge and confidence at the butchery counter.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting customers at the butchery counter with product selection and advice
• Preparing, weighing and packaging meat products
• Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and food safety
• Restocking displays and ensuring counters are attractively presented
• Supporting general farm shop duties, including till operation and stock rotation

About You

• Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation (or a strong willingness to learn)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast paced retail environment
