Farm Manager - University of Oxford
Are you an experienced Farm Manager looking for a role with real variety, responsibility, and impact?
The University of Oxford is seeking a Farm Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a 900-acre mixed farm within the Oxford Green Estate. The farm includes both livestock and crops and is part of the Oxford Green Estate, which supports farming, environmental projects, and agricultural research.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be responsible for keeping the farm running smoothly. You will oversee livestock and crop production, manage staff and contractors, and ensure the farm operates safely and efficiently.
You will also have the opportunity to be involved in projects that improve biodiversity and support research into the future of farming. Working with researchers, farming partners, and colleagues across the estate, you will help balance productive farming with environmental and sustainability goals.
We are looking for someone with experience managing a mixed farm, strong organisational skills, and the confidence to make day-to-day decisions. You will enjoy solving problems, leading people, and finding ways to improve how the farm operates.
This is a rare opportunity to take on a leadership role within one of the world's leading universities and manage a farm that combines traditional farming with innovation and sustainability.
If you are passionate about farming and want to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
