Family Worker - Family Help

This is an exciting time to join our Family Help Team, where we place children and young people at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking to recruit four Family Workers to support families across the North Locality, including Blandford, Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Sturminster Newton, and Sherborne.
As a Family Worker, you will play a key role in the Families First Pathway transformation, working collaboratively with multi agency partners to improve outcomes for families and create brighter futures for children and young people.
What You'll Be Doing- Working directly with families in their homes and within the community
- Building positive relationships with children, young people, and their families
- Assessing needs and risks, and developing outcome focused plans
- Delivering targeted support at both Early Help and Child in Need (CIN) levels
- Working in partnership with other professionals to coordinate effective support
- Empowering families to build resilience and achieve sustainable change

You may already have experience working with children and families in areas such as:
- Early Years
- Education
- Youth Work
- Health or Community Services
However, this is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
