YourRole as a Team Leader withinFamily Assessment:
- Assessparents to safeguard and promote their children'swell-being.
- Supportand mentor parents in developing essential parentingskills.
- Provideadvice and guidance to help families build stability.
- Striveto develop the offer the best support to families.
- Workin a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Mentornew and less experienced staff.
- Leadthe team throughout shifts.
- Workclosely with the management team to develop the service.
- Actas a role model and mentor to staff, demonstratingprofessionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the higheststandards of care and ethical practice.
- Navigatechallenges with resilience and adaptability.
OurIdeal Candidate should:
- Holda Level 3 Children & Young People's Workforce qualificationor Equivalent.
- Holdor willing to work towards a team leader qualification.
- Hasexperience in leading a team.
- Prioritisesthe safety and well-being of children.
- Nurturingand supportive, with strong mentoring skills.
- Experiencedin safeguarding and creating a stable environment.
- Empathetic,understanding, and encouraging.
- Self-motivatedand adaptable to a fast-paced setting.
- Ableto apply transferable skills from relevant experience.
- Strongcommunication skills with a high level of empathy.
- Remainscalm under pressure.
- Stronginterpersonal skills and the ability to build positive,effective relationships with children, parents, andprofessionals.
