Overview

Family Solicitor based in Tyne and Wear; manages a varied privately funded caseload of divorce, financial remedy, private children, and cohabitation disputes from instruction to conclusion. This permanent position offers a salary range of £35,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, and the firm provides high-quality work with genuine long-term career progression. The successful candidate will deliver clear, practical and commercially focused advice while building strong client relationships. Suitable for a solicitor with at least two years' PQE.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion, including divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients.
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver an exceptional standard of client care.
  • Collaborate within a respected and collaborative family law team with an excellent local reputation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' PQE in family law.
  • Experience managing your own family law caseload is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused approach.
  • Organised, proactive and able to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience of privately funded family law work is advantageous.
