This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while enjoying a supportive work environment. You will be first point of contact as you filter through enquiries and make initial contact with potential families.
Responsibilities- Manage high volumes of enquiries (circa 400 per month).
- Respond to and follow up all leads in a timely, professional manner.
- Contact prospective carers to assess background and suitability.
- Provide clear information about the service and guide applicants through early stages.
- Maintain regular communication to keep applicants engaged throughout the process.
- Arrange initial visits and coordinate with regional teams.
- Progress suitable applicants through to assessment stage.
- Record all activity accurately on the CRM system.
- Advertise roles across Indeed and social media and engage with platforms.
- Support recruitment campaigns, events and outreach activity.
- Track and report on enquiries, conversions and applicant progress.
- Liaise with senior staff, social workers and admin teams across regions.
- Prepare applications for review meetings and record minutes/actions.
- Ideally experience within children services, local authority or a related sector.
- Confident handling sensitive conversations over the phone.
- Empathetic and able to provide reassurance to prospective carers.
- Proactive, organised and able to manage a high-volume workload.
- Self-sufficient with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Experience using CRM/database systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
