OverviewOssett Academy & Accord Sixth Form are seeking a proactive and committed Family Liaison Officer who will work directly with vulnerable young people and their families in the community, promoting positive engagement with education.
Key Responsibilities- Bridge the gap between home and school, ensuring every pupil has the support they need to thrive.
- Collaborate with parents and carers, guiding them towards appropriate support services and championing their child's success.
- Provide professional pastoral care advice and guidance.
- Deliver high quality, structured programmes that build pupils' confidence and self esteem.
- Improve pupil attendance, behaviour and engagement across the academy.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Proven ability to build strong rapport with families.
- Commitment to safeguarding and a willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
Full time on a Monday to Thursday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm and Friday 8.00 am - 3.30 pm schedule, with a half hour unpaid lunch break each day.
