Family Law Paralegal London

We are looking for an experienced family law paralegal to join our team in our London City office . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in family law who is looking to develop their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting solicitors in managing client files and related administrative matters.
• Managing client files under supervision, dependent on experience and competence.
• Liaising with clients, courts and third parties.
• Providing clients with clear, professional support while upholding the highest standards of client care and service.
• Preparing bundles for hearings and assisting with case management tasks.
• Efficiently managing diaries, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings to support the legal team.
• Managing the closing and archiving of files in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Handling calls from existing clients and new enquiries, providing professional and supportive assistance while gathering relevant information.

Key skills and experience

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual who takes pride in delivering excellent client service. Experience in a law firm would be beneficial but is not essential. The most important qualities are:

• Candidates should ideally have completed a law degree or equivalent.
• Ability to use your own initiative and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Strong IT skills - experience using case management systems is an advantage.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
