Family Paralegal / 1+ PQE / Greater Manchester / £30,000 DOE

The Role

The successful candidate will provide assistance across a broad range of duties including:

  • arranging appointments and meetings
  • handling telephone enquiries
  • maintaining diaries
  • database management
  • preparing court bundles
  • liaising with clients and outside agencies

They will also give support to fee earners across a varied workload, receive ongoing training, guidance and support, and have genuine opportunities for progression within the department.

The Candidate

You are an experienced Paralegal with a background in family law and the ability to thrive within a busy and fast paced department. You have strong organisational and communication skills, are confident managing diaries, liaising with clients and external agencies, preparing bundles, and supporting fee earners. You can work independently, use your own initiative and demonstrate excellent client care skills and strong attention to detail. Experience using CCMS would be advantageous but is not essential. Access to your own vehicle is essential as some travel to courts, meetings and other offices may be required.
