Location & Hours: 1 Permanent Full time 37 hours (North Bristol); 1 Permanent Part time 22.5 hours (East & Central Bristol).
About the ServiceThe Family Hubs and Early Help Support Service supports children, young people and families in their communities through a range of developing and accessible services.
Role OverviewYou will provide direct support to children, young people and families across Family Hub sites and local communities, offering early help and preventative support to families who are not open to neighbourhood teams or other statutory services.
Responsibilities- Provide direct support to children, young people and families across Family Hub sites and local communities.
- Offer early help and preventative support to families who are not open to neighbourhood teams or other statutory services, providing clear information about local support.
- Assist with referrals and applications, facilitate access to specialist services, and introduce families to additional help through warm, supportive handovers.
- Be the first point of contact for many families, offering a warm, welcoming, and informed introduction to Family Hub services.
- Engage children, young people and families face to face, helping them to understand their needs and access the right support at the right time.
- Work across various locations, including outreach and occasional out of hours work, and manage a varied workload flexibly across locations.
- Experience working with adults, children, young people and families.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Confidence working in partnership with other agencies or teams.
- Flexible approach and ability to manage a varied workload across multiple locations.
- Subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
