Job Title: Family Engagement Worker

Location: HMP Ashfield (Bristol)

Hours: 37.5 Hrs per week

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Responsible to: POPS' Family Service Manager

POPS (Partners of Prisoners & Families Support Group) is a charity established in 1988 to support the loved ones of those in prison and on community sentences. We provide Family Support services in 15 prisons across the Northwest, Yorkshire, and Leicester.

We have recently partnered with SERCO, who are managing HMP Ashfield on behalf of HMPPS.

POPS is contracted by Serco to provide family and relationship support to visitors of HMP Ashfield.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our Family Service at HMP Ashfield. We are looking for individuals committed to our ethos to join our new POPS team. Training will be provided.

The role is based within the prison and focuses on ensuring prisoners, their children, families, and significant others have access to advice, guidance, and 1-1 support to maintain positive relationships during custody and to prepare for release and resettlement.
