Failure Analysis Shift TechnicianApplylocations: Newport, UKtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR-18800Failure Analysis shift technician to join the FA team working back-end nights (12hrs: 7pm-7am; Wed, Thu, Fri & every other Saturday).This position is a key member of the Failure Analysis team, responsible for performing physical and structural analysis of wafers/samples using Optical microscope, SEM, FIB, Plasma etcher and EDX. Full training will be provided on dayshift (Mon-Fri). Key duties: •Performing SEM cross sections and imaging•Performing cross sections using FIB•Analysing wafers/samples with EDX•Performing wafer de-processing using wet chemicals and/or plasma etcher•Performing optical inspections•Maintain Failure Analysis and chemical laboratory Required •Ability to work effectively in teams and on own initiative•Methodical, well-organised with ability to multitask•Highly motivated, results and customer service oriented•Strong written and communication skills•Experienced in Microsoft office Advantageous •Able to work in busy and fast changing environment•BTEC qualification/ HNC•Detail oriented Power your career as you power the world.Vishay helps the world's most in-demand technologies come to life.
