In 2009, O.P. Jindal Global University began its first academic session with the establishment of India's first global law school. JGLS is committed to providing global legal education to its students. The curriculum and pedagogy are designed to give extensive exposure to students to domestic, international and comparative law courses.

About the Job

JGLS invites applications for full time faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer in Law, Legal Practice and Allied Disciplines. Subjects include:

• Constitutional Law
• Jurisprudence
• Critical Legal Theory
• Psychology
• Criminology
• Economics
• Civil Procedure Code
• Drafting, Pleading and Conveyance

Note: For Jurisprudence and Critical Legal Theory, candidates with a PhD will be given preference.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a LL.M (or equivalent) from a reputed institution. Applicants with a Ph.D., teaching experience, post doctoral experience, international exposure, or experience in leading law firms or top litigation chambers will be preferred. A demonstrated record of high quality research publications in reputable journals will also be preferred.
