Factory Operative

Overview

FACTORY OPERATIVE Due to growth we are looking for Assembly and Machine Operatives for one of our clients based in Perry Barr in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company. This will be a temporary to possibly permanent role working full time Day shift hours Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Duties Will Include: Working on a fast paced production line, Following instructions specific to client needs and requirements, Using hand tools and Operating welding machinery, Assembling Parts and products, Working knowledge of health and safety and good housekeeping, Quality Checking and inspecting orders, Any other general factory duties

Experience and skills

• Experience required for this role include: Previous experience of working in a factory or shopfloor, Minimum of 2 years Experience in machine operating and assembly, Be Self-motivated and eager to learn, Good communication and organisational skills

• Be a strong team player who can work well under pressure, Be able to meet deadlines and prioritise your workload effectively, Have a strong work ethic, A good understanding of English both written and spoken
