Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 17:00

Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour

Driving Licence: and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the location.

The role is a temporary position with a possibility of permanent conversion.

We are recruiting reliable, hardworking Factory Operatives to join a busy packing and dispatch team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in order picking, packing and preparing goods for shipment who take pride in accuracy and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders according to packing lists and pick sheets
• Pack items securely and label parcels for dispatch
• Prepare and stage goods for collection or loading
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required
• Carry out basic quality checks to ensure orders are correct and undamaged
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
• Complete simple paperwork and scanning/shipping records as required

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Proven experience in order picking, packing and dispatch operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting (regular lifting of boxes and parcels)
• Good time management and ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Basic numeracy and ability to follow written instructions
