Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Factory Cleaner to join our well-established and growing manufacturing company based in the Greater Belfast area. This is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and spotless manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a Factory Cleaner, you'll be responsible for ensuring all factory areas are clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards. Your proactive approach will help sustain high-quality production processes and contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere.

Key responsibilities include:

• Use of hand tools to thoroughly clean machinery, workstations, and factory floors
• Sweep, mop, and scrub surfaces to remove dust, debris, and spills effectively
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as break rooms, restrooms, and hallways
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
• Support maintenance teams by preparing work areas for repairs or inspections

Requirements:

• Previous factory or industrial cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Able to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting heavy objects safely
• Familiar with safety standards related to industrial cleaning environments is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
• Driving license
• Previous experience operating a forklift is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Hours of Work:
Mon - Thurs: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Fri: 8:00am - 2:30pm
