About the Role

Our Facilities Team is looking for a skilled and dedicated Facilities Support Technician with an electrical/mechanical background to support the start up of our first European manufacturing site. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Technician will play a key role in the efficient operation of the site, providing documentation and technical support to the facilities team.

Responsibilities
  • Retrieve, compile, and analyze technical data from internal systems.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports to support Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
  • Interpret technical information (drawings, schematics, process data) to support investigations and reporting.
  • Assist with trend analysis and data evaluation to support investigation and improvement situations.
  • Support the management and closure of Non Conformances (NCs), ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of controlled documentation (SOPs, work instructions, reports).
  • Liaise with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to gather information and support investigations.
  • Provide technical input into quality issues based on hands on experience.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities and other repair tasks are accurately documented and that records are audit ready at all times.
  • Utilize Maximo CMMS to track and manage maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP standards in all maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Participate in audits, risk assessments, stress testing scenarios for facility systems.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong electrical or mechanical background.
  • Proficiency in using Maximo CMMS.
  • Strong understanding of GMP standards.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with BMS/EMS systems.
  • Experience or exposure to report writing.
